About Taharka Gold
Rooted in Africa. Connected to the world.
An independent vision for a more connected African gold value chain, bringing local ambition, international relationships and commercial discipline into the same conversation.
01A long-term perspective
Taharka Gold is developing a business platform focused on mining opportunities, refining pathways and physical gold trade. We bring these areas together because the value of a resource depends on the decisions made throughout its journey: how an opportunity is assessed, how material is processed, and how it reaches the right market. Our ambition is to build durable relationships across that journey.
02Why we are building this
We believe more of the value created from African resources should support the countries and communities from which they originate. Our purpose is to explore commercially sound ways to strengthen local processing, refining, technical skills and business participation. Over time, well-structured projects can support employment, local suppliers and broader national development. These are the outcomes we seek to help create as opportunities progress.
03Private relationships. International reach.
Our private-client relationships extend across all GCC markets, Switzerland and the United States. Our wider network connects South America and North America with Europe, Asia and Africa, bringing together people with different market knowledge, expertise and commercial needs. Alongside gold, this network supports conversations across the wider world of precious metals and gemstones.
04From opportunity to execution
Our approach begins with understanding an opportunity: its people, ownership, technical fundamentals, legal context, economics and route to market. The next step is to identify what is known, what needs independent review and which capabilities are required. Clear responsibilities and practical milestones help turn shared interest into a considered development pathway.
05Clarity before scale
We distinguish the relationships we have built from the assets and processing capacity we aim to develop. Our mining and refining activities remain a development focus; no producing mine or owned, commissioned refinery is announced here. We intend to communicate project progress as it becomes supportable, with the same care we bring to evaluating the opportunity itself.
